The Authors

Stefan Stanczyk ( stefan@theorypractice.org) is Deputy Head of the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Oxford Brookes University where he directs Computing Studies.

Bob Champion (bob@theorypractice.org ) is currently Principal Lecturer in Computing at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Oxford Brookes University

Richard Leyton ( richard@theorypractice.org) is now an independent database consultant. He is the author of LEAP, an educational RDBMS used at a growing number of universities around the world. He now contributes articles on Database systems to the ;login: magazine of Usenix (The Advanced Computing Association).
